Nick Weisser

Blogger and CEO at the Zürich based ecommerce agency Openstream. WordPress and WooCommerce polyglot, Swiss Magento and WooCommerce usergroup organizer, Blockchain enthusiast.

Nick has been active in the WordPress community mainly as the maintainer of the de_CH locale and as an excited visitor of Swiss and international WordCamps. WordCamp Zürich 2019 is his first time as co-organizer. You can find him on Twitter @nickweisser.

Gerd Zimmermann

Gerd has been using WordPress since 2009. Starting with the administration of the website of his company, he now builds websites for small businesses and friends & family. He has been helping as the co-organizer of the WordPress Meetup in Bern for the last two years. Currently Gerd is working to build up wp-toolbox.ch to support WordPress-Users and take care of the maintenance of a whole series of WordPress sites.

Petra Wildemann

Petra is a prolific user of WordPress on behalf of the Swiss Cyber Think Tank, which Petra founded and organized four years ago as a networking platform for Cyber Risks and Threats and the insurability of such risks. The Swiss Cyber Think Tank is a non-profit coalition of likeminded professionals across the industry from various business lines such as insurers, technology and security firms, and representatives of the government.

Christian Zumbrunnen

Christian has been using WordPress since 2007 and is a patient WordPress trainer and course instructor.
He was jointly responsible for the Happiness Bar at WordCamp Zurich (2014, 2015), where everyone could come by with their WordPress questions to get help. He currently works for switchplus, one of the largest and most experienced domain registration and hosting companies in Switzerland.

Pascal Birchler

Pascal is a software engineer and WordPress core committer based in Zurich. He’s been working with WordPress for half of his life and is an avid member of the community. Most recently, Pascal joined Google as a Developer Programs Engineer to help advance WordPress and the open web even more. Silvan Hagen

Silvan has been using WordPress since 2006 and is an active member in the Swiss & European WordPress community. He is a co-organizer and speaker for previous WordCamps in Switzerland and one of the organizers for the WordPress Zurich meetup group. He co-founded and ran a remote WordPress and UX agency and has since returned to web development work and consulting in the digital space. Besides his work with open-source software, he builds food gardens and gardening products at Dein-Garten.ch.

Mark Howells-Mead

Mark has been using WordPress since 2004 and is a keen collaborator in the Swiss WordPress community. He moved to the Alps from England and has been building websites for over twenty-three years, with a particular focus on theme and plugin development, responsive frontend development and user interface concept work.
