We are looking forward to the WordCamp on Saturday and are completing the final preparations. It turns out that there will be a controversial demonstration on the Turbinenplatz directly in front of the Technopark at 2 p.m., where counter-demonstrations have been announced. A large police presence is expected. This will have a slight impact on the organisation.
- It is recommended to travel to and from the event by public transport.
- Those who come by car should not park nearby. The parking lot Westpark remains closed. The parking garage of the Technopark will be closed from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
- If you come by bike, you can (should) take it into the building.
- The sliding doors at the main entrance will remain open between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. and will be guarded by the police. It is not recommended to leave or enter the building through the front entrance during this time.
- On the opposite side of the large corridor there will be the possibility to get fresh air.
We assume that we will not experience any disturbances for the WordCamp and hope for a peaceful demonstration.
